About CMA Ventures >>> CMA Ventures was originally created as the Iowa Capital Corporation (ICC) through a joint venture between the State of Iowa and CIPCO in 1991. The purpose was to invest in developing companies in Iowa. As the fund was due to be liquidated in 1999, the State of Iowa’s interests were purchased by CIPCO. The fund’s name was changed to CMA Ventures in 2011 and is managed by Capital Management Associates, Inc.
